The NBI is committed to the promotion of the appropriate, safe, and effective use of its products through a programme of Continuing Medical Education (CME). The aim of this centre is to provide healthcare professionals with accurate, objective and up-to-date information on NBI's products and the clinical settings where they are used. The Information Centre is staffed by pharmacists, registered nurses and a medical technologist, with experience and training in the provision of drug information. The Information Centre also consults, as necessary, with a haematologist or other appropriate healthcare professionals.
To provide an efficient service, the staff at the Centre maintain a number of current journals, reference texts and product files. The staff also have access to the resources of NBI's library (EK Dunning Library), and Internet access to relevant sources of information.
